Completed Phosphorus Index Tools
The following states/tools have been completed for use with MMP.

| Illinois | Phosphorus Risk Assessment | The Illinois Phosphorus Risk Assessment identifies critical risk factors that may contribute to higher potential for phosphorus loss from fields. | Minnesota | Phosphorus Loss Assessment | The Minnesota Phosphorus Risk Assessment calculates, on the basis of several risk factors, a limiting rate basis for the application of manure to a field. This rate will be either nitrogen based, phosphorus based or no application will be permitted at all. | 0.1.9.8 | Notes |
| Ohio | Phosphorus Risk Assessment | The Ohio Phosphorus Risk Assessment is a phosphorus index, though its methodology differs from that described by Gilbert and Lemunyon (1993). It calculates a numeric value for each field based on various risk factors.
